Graduated from the Minneapolis College of Art & Design BFA, trained in drawing, painting, sculpture. I've been actively selling my art work through out the U.S. Canada, and South America, in the last ten years the advanced technology of computers and cameras which has opened up a new frontier for image makers that I totally embrace. My work is made on the computer so what you see is exactly what you're printed digital creation will look like. An intense interest in music I have
played and recorded music for decades.I fused my love of the visual
and performing arts with the original
music of my band Artsonic who put
on multimedia performances including
live musicians, dancers, projected computer animation, theatrical lighting and staging. The troupe was called Hole in the Sky Network, and 16 people strong at one point performing at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis as well as other theatre venues in Minneapolis. I see my abstract work as a study of harmonics, utilizing the energy of color, shape and balance. The flowers I created not only depicts their inherent beauty but also suggest the etheric energy around them.
While in High School I won a contest through Famous Artist School. Norman Rockwell was one of the teachers there, he showed my winning piece on the Johnny Carson show. I've sold my abstract paintings all over the U.S. Canada and South America through Park West Galleries. My studio burnt down in 2001 and since then I've gone digital. After empirical studies my digital images have come comfortably together with the electronic network and connections such as this site, where you can select your image of choice and how you want it printed and framed.
